All Laserglow products undergo extensive testing and quality control during the manufacturing process. Thorough quality assurance testing is conducted pre-shipment in Laserglow's lab to confirm compliance with published specifications as well as with the appropriate FDA-CDRH/IEC regulations. To help you optimize your investment, Laserglow offers three flexible service solutions. Our established and flexible service agreements and programs can be tailored to your specific service needs based on your uptime strategy. Outlined herein are warranty service provisions for the various service and maintenance packages. Service Offerings

PACKAGE LASERGLOW'S PLEDGE TO CORRECT PROBLEMS UNDER WARRANTY: NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY Replacement/Upgrade Credit
LASERCARE1 - STANDARD SERVICE PACKAGE

Laserglow warrants that this product is guaranteed to operate within the stated specifications, free from defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of six (6) months (for laser pointers and industrial products)/ twelve (12) months (for scientific lasers) from the date of delivery. This warranty period is annually renewable prior to the expiration of the standard warranty for a fee. Please contact your Laserglow sales representative for details.

Upon receipt of the item by Laserglow, Laserglow guarantees to diagnose the item within five (5) business days and shall advise the customer of the service turnaround time. If the item is deemed defective by Laserglow technicians, at its option Laserglow will either repair or replace the in-warranty defective item without charging the customer for costs of repair or replacement (if applicable). When parts or products are replaced under warranty, the replaced items will automatically become property of Laserglow. Once an item has been repaired or replaced under warranty, the repaired or replacement item assumes the remaining period of warranty based on the original date of delivery. Laserglow shall be responsible for the cost of shipping the defective item to Laserglow and the cost of shipping the repaired/replacement item back to the customer. Where Laserglow covers the cost of shipping, the carrier and method of shipping will be at Laserglow's discretion

This warranty will become void if any of the following conditions are met:


  • The product has been modified or tampered with in any way.

  • The product has been dropped or subjected to shock in excess of 100 G.

  • The product has been exposed to water, any liquid, or condensing atmospheric humidity.

  • The unit was powered from a source other than that is specified in the instruction/operation manual.

  • The unit was operated in an area with ambient temperature outside of the operating temperature range, as stated in the product specifications and instruction/operation manual.

  • The serial number or other identifying marks are removed. Ownership of the product has changed. (This warranty is not transferable.)

  • The warranty period or subsequent extensions have expired.

At any time for the lifetime of the product, while still enrolled in this service and repair package, you may return the product to us in any condition, functional or not, for a trade-in credit equal to 10% of the original purchase price or 10% of the current retail price, whichever is less. The new product which you select must be of equal or greater value than the trade-in product, based on the value used to calculate the 10% credit amount.

LASERCARE2 - SILVER SERVICE PACKAGE

To provide maximum peace of mind that your investment is taken care of, Laserglow has designed the Lasercare2 - Silver service package. This enhanced service and warranty coverage package includes warranty coverage for not only manufacturers defects but also accidental damage. Laserglow warrants that this product is guaranteed to operate within the stated specifications, free from defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery. This warranty period is annually renewable for a fee. Please contact your Laserglow sales representative for details.

Upon receipt of the item by Laserglow, Laserglow guarantees to diagnose the item within three (3) business days and shall advise the customer of the service turnaround time. If the item is deemed defective by Laserglow technicians, at its option Laserglow will either repair or replace the in-warranty defective item without charging the customer for costs of repair or replacement. When parts or products are replaced under warranty, the replaced items will automatically become property of Laserglow. Once an item has been repaired or replaced under warranty, the repaired or replacement item assumes the remaining period of warranty based on the original date of delivery. Laserglow shall be responsible for the cost of shipping the defective item to Laserglow and the cost of shipping the repaired/replacement item back to the customer. Express 2-way shipment is included as part of the service package.

This warranty will become void if, upon diagnosis by Laserglow technicians, it is determined that the failure is a result of obvious abuse.

At any time for the lifetime of the product, while still enrolled in this service and repair package, you may return the product to us in any condition, functional or not, for a trade-in credit equal to 20% of the original purchase price or 20% of the current retail price, whichever is less. The new product which you select must be of equal or greater value than the trade-in product, based on the value used to calculate the 20% credit amount.

LASERCARE3 - GOLD SERVICE PACKAGE

For maximum uptime, Laserglow has designed the Lasercare3 - Gold service package. This no questions asked, bumper to bumper service and repair warranty guarantees two (2) business day replacement from the time we receive the product. We inventory a replacement product for the duration of the term, to ensure maximum uptime. Under this package, Laserglow warrants that this product is guaranteed to operate within the stated specifications, free from defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery. This warranty period is annually renewable for a fee. Please contact your Laserglow sales representative for details.

Upon receipt of the item by Laserglow, Laserglow guarantees at its option that it will either repair or replace the in-warranty defective item without charging the customer for costs of repair or replacement within two (2) business days. When parts or products are replaced under warranty, the replaced items will automatically become property of Laserglow. Once an item has been repaired or replaced under warranty, the repaired or replacement item assumes the remaining period of warranty based on the original date of delivery. Laserglow shall be responsible for the cost of shipping the defective item to Laserglow and the cost of shipping the repaired/replacement item back to the customer. Express 2-way shipment is included as part of the service package.

Full service warranty.

At any time for the lifetime of the product, while still enrolled in this service and repair package, you may return the product to us in any condition, functional or not, for a trade-in credit equal to 30% of the original purchase price or 30% of the current retail price, whichever is less. The new product which you select must be of equal or greater value than the trade-in product, based on the value used to calculate the 30% credit amount.

AS NEEDED SERVICE PACKAGE - NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS:

Items returned to Laserglow as warranty issues, which upon inspection and upon sole discretion of Laserglow technicians are deemed to have a defect that is not covered under warranty, will be treated as a non-warranty repair. The cost of any non-warranty repairs will be billed at $100/hour for labor, plus parts with a minimum diagnosis service charge of $119 per item. At no point will the non-warranty repair cost exceed 60% of the current retail price. The maximum fee will be agreed upon before work begins.

Items returned for non-warranty repairs/service will be shipped back to the customer once fees for repairs/service and return shipping have been paid in full. Any item with monies owing will be held by Laserglow for a period of ninety (90) days at no charge. After this period, Laserglow will charge a storage fee of $1 per day for ninety (90) days, until the balance owing (including this storage fee) is paid in full. If the customer has still not paid the balance after this complete 180 day period, Laserglow reserves the right to dispose of the laser at its discretion. Shipping both ways will be for the customer's account.

NEITHER OF THESE WARRANTIES NOR ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD. NO RESPONSIBILITY IS ASSUMED FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PRODUCT MALFUNCTION, INACCURACY, OR MATHEMATICAL INACCURACY OF THE PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS. NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
